Programs & Services

Peer Connections is comprised of Peer Educator teams, each with a focus on a different type of student support. In addition, we have various events that we host and table at throughout the semester to provide additional support to the campus.

"Classic" Peer Tutors meet with students 1-on-1 to assist with more than 125 subjects, including writing, math, business, physics, and computer science.

Peer Mentors are guides to the college experience, and support students to thrive personally and academically at SJSU.

Embedded Tutors attend selected courses and assist students in the classroom and through 1-on-1 or small group tutoring outside of class.

Supplemental Instruction (SI) Leaders attend selected, challenging courses and assist students by hosting group study sessions twice a week.

Strengths Coaching & Strengths Workshops assist students to identify their strengths and learn how to develop them in their academic and personal lives.

Events & Programming we offer many different on-campus events and programs to provide support to our students- such as workshops and an open house.
