Writing Across the Curriculum

The Writing Across the Curriculum (WAC) movement is based on the premise that writing is a valuable tool for promoting students' learning, analytical skills, and problem solving abilities as well as a means of communicating what they already have learned. WAC programs emphasize the benefits of including writing in all the disciplines across the university curriculum. Peer Connections staff views writing as an important vehicle for learning, growth, and communication. We are committed to assisting faculty with their efforts to use writing effectively in their courses.
